A diagnostic visit from TJM costs $75, and you pay $0 for the visit if you go ahead with the repair. You get a flat-rate quote before any work starts, and you can say no to it.
By affordable, we mean you know what it costs before any work starts.
What does the diagnostic visit cost?
The diagnostic visit costs $75. We come to your home, look at the appliance and tell you what is wrong with it. The $75 is the price of that visit.
It is the same $75 for refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens and ranges, dishwashers, microwaves, ice makers and garbage disposals. We work in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.
Is the fee waived if I go ahead with the repair?
Yes. You pay $0 for the visit when we do the repair. The repair itself is quoted and billed separately, so the quote is the next number you see.
What do I pay if I decide not to repair?
The $75 covers the visit, and nothing else is owed. You can turn down the quote and stop there.
Is a diagnostic visit free?
No. The $75 is waived if you go ahead with the repair, which is not the same as free: if you decline, you pay it. Our visit has a fee, and it drops to $0 only when you go ahead.

Do I get a price before work starts?
Yes. You get a flat-rate quote before any work starts, and nothing starts until you say yes. We use OEM parts where they're available. There is no pressure to say yes. If the quote is not for you, you pay the $75 for the visit and nothing else is owed.
Why can't you quote a repair over the phone?
We can't quote a repair from a description over the phone, and we would rather say so than guess. The same symptom can come from different parts, and the part decides the repair.
Call anyway and tell us what the appliance is doing. It gives us a place to start.
What makes a repair cost more or less?
Mostly it comes down to which part has failed, how hard that part is to reach, and the model of the appliance. A part that sits behind two panels takes more time than one you can see when the door opens, and parts for one model can cost more than parts for another.
This page gives no repair prices, because the quote comes after the diagnosis and a number before it would be a guess.
